Featured Licensing Projects

OEB Franchise
Christa is proud of her continued work over the years with the OEB ownership team to assist in their licensing and permitting needs across BC. Originating out of Alberta and now Canada wide, Banks looks forward to continuing to support OEB in their on-going expansion and success.

After Dark Hospitality
After Dark Hospitality delivers an unique and unparalleled VIP experience. As a group, they deliver one-of-a-kind memorable experiences across all five locations. For over a decade, Christa has played an integral role working with ownership to manage the licensing and permitting for all After Dark locations. This includes permit renewals, changes to existing licences to ensure we’re maximizing opportunities such as permanent hour extensions and capacity increases, to sourcing new licence opportunities.

BC Place Stadium
Welcoming more than 35 million guests to thousands of events since 1983, BC Place Stadium hosts a diverse range of sporting, cultural, entertainment, commercial and community events & activities. Christa’s most recent success in her ongoing work with BC Place, was licensing & permitting the Terry Fox Plaza - the largest capacity patio in BC (over 2700 persons!!), allowing the stadium to serve liquor in conjunction with their events.

Parq Resort & Casino
Where vibrant gaming floors meet stylish lounges, diverse restaurants and bars, Christa has been working with Parq Resort for over 10 years. From the relocation of the casino at Plaza of Nations, to obtaining new licences for restaurants, bars, the hotels & banquet space, she continues to maintain and support all licenses and permits throughout.

District Wine Village
The first of its kind in Canada, Nestled between the mountains and lakes in the heart of Okanagan Wine Country, District Wine Village is a must see. Being involved in this cutting edge project was an exciting experience for Christa. With 14 wineries, a brewery, distillery and over 600 person outdoor space to licence, trying to align the grand concept with the local and provincial policies and regulations was challenging! After successfully licensing the entire Village, Christa still continues to assist with ownership in onsite changes and required updates as they arise.

Liberty Kitchen
Helping bring Elizabeth’s vision of a bakery that primarily operated during the day to a cozy licensed establishment where customers and community could gather for thoughtfully made shared meals and curated BC wines, and cocktails was a fulfilling project to be a part of. Banks worked together to facilitate the change of use permits and obtain the 16 person liquor licence so Elizabeth could move forward with her dream. While running her bakery business alone Jamie & Christa were able to take the workload off Elizabeth's shoulders so she could focus on her business goals, while the team supported and implemented her vision.
