Batch Kitsilano for Vancouver Parks Board
Providing both permitting and liquor licensing, Batch is just the latest successful project in a long series of work Christa has completed over the past decade for the Vancouver Parks Board. We are proud partners of more exciting concession patios and improvements to come. Additionally, Batch is just one of many patio permits Banks has attained for business owners big and small across the City of Vancouver, demonstrating a strong understanding of how to push patios through a tough regulatory environment to implementation.
Mansion for After Dark Hospitality
Jamie and Christa delivered a large occupant load increase for Mansion nightclub, located in the podium of Paradox Hotel downtown Vancouver. Jamie completed a complex occupant load analysis in order to find inefficiencies in previous calculations by looking at multiple floors simultaneously to prove that Mansion could safely accommodate more patrons, boosting the success of their business. This was done with no construction needed.
Pearl Nightclub for Modo-Live
Jamie provided a doubling of the occupant load to support the revamp of this historic venue on Granville Street in Vancouver. Jamie worked with City of Vancouver staff to find solutions to a number of concerns in a cost-effective manner
Celebrities Nightclub for Blueprint
Celebrities represents one of many projects, both completed and ongoing that Christa and Jamie are in the process of delivering, via both permits and liquor licenses. At this location, the beloved nightclub on Davie Street in Downtown Vancouver is making permanent and improving their Village Studios underground concept at the Celebrities location, representing a large increase in patrons for their business.
Tality Kitsilano Franchise
Banks is a proud partner of many franchisees and business owners, well beyond hospitality. In this project, Jamie successfully negotiated combined permitting, reducing the overall permit delivery time by months. Jamie worked closely with the interior designer and contractor to develop a well-coordinated, code-compliant spa which will expand the Tality experience to Vancouver western neighbourhoods.
Meo
Meo is operated by the impressive Tannis Ling, responsible for many award winning concepts in the city of Vancouver, and providing an iconic experience in Vancouver’s Chinatown. Jamie and Christa collaborated to deliver permitting and liquor licensing in order to deliver a project that could expand their event space while allowing Tannis time back to focus on her business.
